This is an original 1906 black and white halftone print of a man selling mistletoe. The original sketch in this print was created by Myles Birket Foster (1825-1899) who was an English watercolor artist and illustrator. He was born in North Shields, England, to a Quaker family. Foster was apprenticed to a wood engraver named Ebenezer Landells and worked as an illustrator for books and periodicals. He is also known for his landscapes which he painted as he traveled throughout Europe.

This 105+ year old Item is rated Near Mint / Very Fine. Light aging throughout. No creases. No natural defects. No surface rub. No tears. No water damage. Please note that there are a few small dark spots in the margins.
