This is an original 1907 black and white print ad for GALAPETER Milk Chocolate, a product of Lamont, Corliss & Co. Daniel Peter married the founder of the first Swiss chocolate factory, F.L. Callier's daughter in 1863. Aside from his marriage to the famous chocolate heir, Peter was further inspired by Henri Nestle. In 1875, Peter perfected his chocolate-making process and produced Gala Peter chocolate. Peter's chocolates were generated in Nestle factories around the world. Gala Peter chocolates ceased production in the 1980s.
