This is an original 1907 halftone print of a piece by Venetian Renaissance artist Vittore Carpaccio (c. 1465-1525), who is best known his conservative, large-scale detachable wall-paintings, which were not as humanistic in nature as the work of his other Italian contemporaries. here we see Saint George, after having slain the dragon, baptizing King Aga and his court.
