This is an original 1909 black and white halftone print of a political cartoon by William H. Walker entitled, "A School of Italian Art", that portrays an Italian immigrant and gangster painting the symbol of the Black Hand criminal organization that was established by Italian immigrants in the United States during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
