This is an original 1911 black and white halftone print of the court of Heidelberg Castle (Heidelberger Schloss) which is located in Heidelberg, Germany. This is a famous ruined castle and has only been partially rebuilt since its demolition in the 17th and 18th centuries AD. The earliest structure was built on this site in 1214 AD, but since then the complex has been damaged by wars, fires, and lightning bolts.
