This is an original 1922 sepia rotogravure of the Taj Mahal in Agra, India. The caption writes, "The Taj Mahal at Agra, India, which by common consent is the most beautiful building in the world. It was erected by the Emperor Shah Jehan in the seventeenth century as a mausoleum for his queen, to whom he was devotedly attached. Its crystal domes and minarets are marvelous in their delicacy, symmetry and grace."
