"The Arch of Drusus Spans the Appian Way" This is an original 1928 color print of the Arch of Drusus, spanning over the Appian Way. Originally built by the Romans, it stands above the first mile of the Appian Way, a vital Roman road linking Rome to Brindisi, Apulia, and the rest of Southern Italy.
