This is an original 1931 black and white halftone print of two shop porticos in the Kiefhoek quarter of Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Designed by architect Jacobus Johannes Oud, their overhangs allowed shoppers to view window displays and enter the store without succumbing to the weather.
