This is an original 1931 monochrome halftone print of Canadian actress Mary Pickford. One of the most influential female stars of all time, she was brilliant in the silent films of the time; however, the arrival of talking pictures proved to be her undoing. The bob she's sporting in this picture made headline news at the time, as her iconic head of ringlets had been almost famous in its own right prior to that.
