This is an original 1932 black and white halftone print of the city of Romont in Switzerland, located atop a hill, which was likely beneficial during turbulent wartime. The Dukes of Savoy's castle still stands here, but now serves as the city's town hall. It is unknown the reason for the construction of the round tower seen in the foreground.
