1932 Print Bullfighting Arena Bull Sporting Event Spain Matador Animal FZ1
Bullfighting is a sport prominent in Spain, Portugal, and a few Latin American countries. It is considered a blood sport by some, and regarded as a fine art by others. Bulls can only be used once, and the fight is usually over when the bull is killed; however, in Portugal, it is illegal to slaughter the bull in the ring. Currently, horses wear a protective "peto", an armor worn to protect their internal organs from any damage from the bull. Before 1928, horses did not wear protective gear, and were often disemboweled.
