This is an original 1933 black and white print ad for United States Steel Corporation, maker of Stainless and Heat Resisting Alloy Steels. Pictured in the ad is the Music Hall of Rockefeller Center in New York. The stairway and balcony railings are made with USS 18-8 Stainless Steel. Listed in the ad are the builders and managers of Rockefeller Center: Todd, Robertson, Todd Engineering Corporation and Todd & Brown, Inc. Architects were Reinhard & Hofmeister; Corbett, Harrison & MacMurray; Hood & Fouilhoux and the Mechanical Engineer was Clyde R. Place of New York. Also listed in the ad are the subsidiaries of USS: American Sheet and Tin Plate Company of Pittsburgh; American Steel & Wire Company of Chicago; Carnegie Steel Company of Pittsburgh; Illinois Steel Company of Chicago; and National Tube Company of Pittsburgh.
