This is an original 1936 halftone print of Rudolf Ismayr, the German 1932 middleweight class winner, who was Germany's hope in the 1936 Olympic Summer Games in Berlin, but fell short and didn't receive any medals.
Period Paper is pleased to offer a collection of original halftone and color prints from the 1936 IV Olympic Winter Games in the town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Bavaria, Germany and the Games of the XI Olympiad (the 1936 Olympic Summer Games) in Berlin. These images have an accompanying description on the reverse, please scroll down to see the reverse. The prints were all hand tipped-in and may have some glue damage on the reverse of the image from the removal process.
