"The Best Gasoline is Still Fighting!" This is an original 1945 black and white print ad from the Ethyl Corporation, producers of the Ethyl gasoline used on the battle fronts and therefore in short supply to car owners on the home front. Illustrated with three halftone images of the war: the first landing of American troops in Africa in 1943; the first wave of Yanks going ashore on "D" day in 1944; and a B-29 Superfortress taking off from Saipan in 1945.
