The images in the collection give the viewer an insight into the imaginations of Alexandre Jacovleff, William Blake, Thomas Rowlandson, Aubrey Beardsley, Marcus Behmer, Arthur Rackham, Hermann Struck and Anne Goldthwaite. Each piece comes from a limited edition of 2000, unfortunately the copy number is unknown.

Alexandre Jacovleff
Alexandre Jacovleff was a Russian painter, and studied at the Imperial Academy of the Arts. He often worked for several art magazines during the early years of his career and eventually became the director of painting at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Massachusetts. His images often portrayed human figures, and worked with fluid lines and contours.
